Traveling on March, MK, DHS or Epcot?

Hi everyone, I am traveling on March to Los Angeles with a three day layover in Orlando.

I already have tickets to Disneyland and Disney California Adventure on Anaheim, California (Bought for a postpone trip because of the pandemic).

I booked a room in a hotel next to WDW in Orlando and I am not sure if expend a few extra bucks on a WDW one day Ticket.

I am thinking if I get a ticket, should I go to MK to see the castle and the 50th anniversary?
Or should I go to DHS? last time I went to WDW was in 2018 and Toy story land was still under construction also Mickey and Minnie runaway railway, RotR and Millennium falcon.
Or should I go to Epcot and try to get a pass to Guardians, and to the Ratatouille, which does not exist the last time I go??

In theory as I am going to Disneyland CA I am going to go to Star wars land and Mickey Runnaway railroad already.

So, not sure what to do. I wish the park hopper was cheaper but right now is not an option for me.

Yes
My vote would be for the unique offerings that don't exist in California. To me, that would point to Epcot as Toystory land only has Slinky Dog Dash (fun coaster) and Alien Swirling Saucers (just a modified whip from the 1920's). Guardians and Rat are far superior.

How strong is your nostalgic feelings for MK? Nothing much has changed to the Castle or to make MK that special for the 50th. DHS... well TSL isnt that great other than SDD, it does have ToT, RnRC, SWL thats attractive. EP still is under construction... I was underwhelmed with Rat. Havent been on Guardians yet. Do the pavilions have much attractions you?
It comes down to what park will deliver the most enjoyment for you with the time you have. For me... a one day trip would always draw me to MK because of all it has.

My pick is Epcot. DLR doesn't have Cosmic Rewind or Ratatouille. You can also do Soarin' Around the World and can compare it to the original Soarin' Over California when you're at DLR. Same with Test Track vs. Cars ride. The rest is the atmosphere and taking in World Showcase. You didn't mention AK which is also a different park from DLR. The only comparable ride there is DINOSAUR which is the same ride track as Indy at DLR.

I've never been to DL but my understanding is that most rides there are better than the MK versions anyway and the 50th anniversary at MK really isn't anything to sneeze at. As for HS, DL has its own version of Star Wars land. And Mickey and Minnie's Runaway Railway is due to open there this January. California Adventure has Toy Story Midway Mania, and the rethemed Guardians Mission Breakout. Functionally, it's the same ride as of ToT. But you may want to do HS for the different ToT theming. That's up to you.

I agree with you about HS. He can get SWL, TSMM, and MMRR (opens January) at DLR. The only reason he would want to do ToT is the different theming which I admit would be a good reason. Otherwise, it's functionally the same ride as Mission Breakout. I picked Epcot because a very different park. But he may also want to visit the other castle park on the east coast. I can understand that.

Which is always the problem when someone asks which one to choose and we dont know them. It comes down to what most interests them, what theyve experienced in the past, what things will bring them most value for their time. I can find positive and negative point for all the parks. Answers for those types of queries are subjective from one person to the next. The best we can do is try to narrow down our reasons to offer help.

Thats 100% true, but sometimes reading your opinions help me to make my mind to choose a park.
And to be honest, I dont know lots or even any *real life* guys that are so into Disney parks as I am to ask them.. They can send my a photo of them in Hogwarts or Hulk roller coaster and telling me how much fun they have on Disney.

Its true that almost all "new" atractions on DHS are or will be on anaheim too but it DHS has ToT and Rock 'n' Roller Coaster both great atractions that I enjoy a lot. ToT theming is one thing I really love.

Mk have the most rides, most of them are iconic and among the best. but they are also the ones I have done the most and will definitly do them on anaheim (with their difference of course, like a real stretching room 😂)

The 50th aniversary maybe something different but I am not sure if its something else than the castle paint job, Is there any 50th aniversary theming or changes in the rest of the parks?
And EPCOT is without a doubt the most different park between coasts (not counting AK) , with all unique theming and atractions But I am not a big fan of the WorldShowcase, to the point I am not sure if I ever walk the full showcase in one trip haha. But I must confess my love to the canadian pavilion Signature poutines.

So it sounds like you are scaling down the choices according to your past experiences and likes which we had none of that info to work off of at the beginning. From what it sounds like DHS may be what you are gravitating to as a better option. If theres enough different things there to put your day towards then book it as soon as you can. Its a park that many want for the SW land and attractions.
Disney did very little to make the 50th special and so MK has small items that will show its a year of celebrating but not much to show they wanted to put any real thought or ideas to make it special. Any DL celebrations were made special. Prior to the 50th beginning lots of people posted that they were disappointed and let down by the lackluster attitude Dis took. All across property theres very little highlighting a 50th.

That´s really helpful, you convinced me not to go MK, Do you think that EPCOT is less crowded than DHS ?? and do you think its harder to get into RoR in DHS or to GoG in epcot? and Ratatoille (even though you tell me its not as good as expected) vs Milenium falcon vs Mickey Runnaway Railway or Slinky ??

Ep because it’s spread out feels less crowded. On events dates and especially event weekends you’ll find more crowds. RoR has consistently had a big demand. GoG is extremely popular and since it’s newer the demand is high. I haven’t been since GoG opened but I’m hearing getting in is a long wait. Rat isn’t as hard to get into as MRR , MF or SDD from my experience last trip.
