Travel Agent?

We're planning a trip in October to DLP and Paris from the U.S. I was wondering if anyone had any recommendations on travel agents? We've talked to some of the more popular ones, but they either aren't familiar with DLP or do DLP and not Paris. Is there anyone who has experience with both? Preferrably a U.S. based agent, if possible. I've toyed with the idea of doing myself, but I'm a bit worried. Thanks!

You shouldn't be worried about doing it yourself. I just booked a week long stay and have an 2 bedroom apartment in paris with a view of Notre Dame for $1000. It is easy to get around and do what you want. You can buy a museum pass that allows you into all the major museums and you pick up the passes at any subway station ticket counter. I highly recommend you do it yourself. I think you will have a better appreciation and enjoy it more. If you have any questions just shoot me a message.

Planning our trip, and have been looking at reader comments on Rick Steves' travel site. Many are saying that when they tried to buy museum passes at Metro stations, they were met with blank stares, and finally got them a the Louvre or other museum. You can also order them online.
