Hello everyone, I am writing from Italy and I'm a fan of Disneyworld. We were in the park du times already but unfortunately we have to wait two years to go back. I wanted to arrange the trip for September / October 2015 secodno comniciare to you when I can organize my trip to disneyworld? thanks are awesome I always keep company

Correct. You can book a room only at 499 days out, but it is only really necessary if you have a very specific room type and resort that you must have and/or are traveling during a busy time of year. If you need a room at any of the value resorts for a week in September you can wait a while to book. If you want a club level, MK view tower room at the Contemporary during the week between Christmas and New Years, book it yesterday.

True except my friend really wanted AOA for this September booked in April and was told he was lucky to get it.

That is wanting a specific resort. "A value resort" would be any room in any of of the 5 value resorts.

We are looking to go around Christmas 2014, so my 499 days would be pretty soon? Do you have to give a deposit, and if for some reason we had to cancel, do you get your deposit back???

Yes an yes. The deposit is one nights stay and the cancellation period is currently 5 days if I am not mistaken.
