My husband and I are going to Disney at the end of May. We are staying at WL, but we have reservations one night for Emerils. However, we are not renting a car since all of our time will be spent at Disney (except for this dinner).

My question is this - what is the most reasonable way for us to get from WL to Emerils and back? Does Mears run a shuttle service? If so, approx how much? I heard taxi is more expensive. I'm curious if anyone knows in case we have to rent a car...thanks!:)

p.s. Our reservation is at 6PM - I don't know how long it takes to get from WL to Emerils, but I'm assuming I need at least a half hour?

The general Orlando transit should have no problem getting you there and back. Their system is known as LYNX and has this for customer service help and trip routing:

http://www.golynx.com 800-344-LYNX [5969]

I did a quick call to the Customer Service line, and the agent advise that it may take about 2 transfers [3 buses] each way. The fare at this time is $1.10 per person and just make sure to ask for transfer tickets between buses. The routes the agent quoted me are:

From Disney property: #50 [call ahead once you are checked in to your hotel to verify]

Transfer to the #8 at Sea World

At the intersection of International Drive and Grand National, transfer to the #37 which runs through the Universal transportation area.

Hope the info helps...and enjoy your trip!!! :D
