Transportation

Hey, all. If we are just visiting the hotels, can we use their transportation to get to the parks, or are we only allowed to park at the parks? I.e. Going on the boat on the Boardwalk to EPCOT or a bus from All Star to MK...

Many thanks...

You can take buses anywhere you want from anywhere you want...they never check. Back in my "evil" days id park in downtown and take a bus to the parks to save myself 6 bucks...

Interesting....but I thought that now they have these things where resort guests have to CALL the buses...

never heard of calling the buses before....only place where I've been carded was at the TTC, trying to use the monorail before Magic Kingdom officially opened...back when they had Early Entry days...

In all of my visits I always stayed in WDW resorts but they never asked anything to ride the monorail, buses or boats. That is something that amazed me and my family, because with that philosophy anyone can use anything he likes without paying at all. Also pools and facilities at the resorts are easy to use without showing you are staying there.
I know you are not used to other countries, I am, and I can say that this is possible in a country like U.S.A . Where I come from, people would take advantage of these facilities any time just to demonstrate how devious they are , and how they can defeat the control with not paying if they don't want to.
But, enough of me throwing junk to my country...for today:mad:

I've had my Resort ID checked, but only during peak Park seasons. Certain perks are meant for Disney Hotel guests only but it seems everyone takes advantage of Disney's lack of monitoring so I don't blame anyone for "Cheating the system" if they can get away with it.

I have gone onto WDW resort property for lunch or dinner etc and rode the buses, boats, and monorails etc. The one thing new I noticed was they have started taking tag numbers down. I dont know if they still do that this was after Sept11 but everytime I have gone for that reason they have taken what ever vehicle I am in tag number.
