Transportation to Seaworld

This is my families 1st trip to Disney and we are planning to also visit Seaworld. Can anybody suggest a method of transportation that is reasonably priced to get us from All-Star Movie resort to Seaworld. There are 9 of us going and somebody told me that they have used Mears Transportation but they were costly. They said something like $25 per person for roundtrip. Being there are 9 of us it doesn't seem logical to spend $225 for a ride. Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

It would be far better to use a Limo Service that also has vans available for your large group.
Their flat fee would almost certainly be lower than Mears' per person charges!

Try QUICKSILVER, the transporatation sponsor here on the boards. Their contact info is on their website:

Looks like they would do it for $80 round trip for your whole party!!!

Hello wbspenguins

BRER STITCH is absolutely right. :) Our round trip rate from WDW to Seaworld is $80.00 (gratuity not inlcuded) with our van.
Mears is actually $14.00 per person I believe.

Give us call if you need any further assistance. :animwink:

Have you looked into renting a van for a day ?
I have looked into renting a van for the day but the cost of renting one large enough plus parking fees at sea world would be greater than the $80 that quicksilver charges. I think we are going the Quicksilver way. Thanks for all the help and suggestions.

how bad does this stink..... we are going in sept and are going to Sea World mid week, i have a free rental from Hertz and it looks as though the only place near WDW property that Hertz is availible is at the airport.... so why take trans to the airport to turn around and drive virtually 6 miles from property.

what are the cab fares in orlando (per mile)? Quicksilver quotes $70 roundtrip from WDW to Seaworld..... inwhich is 6 miles away. yikes.

Hi,

Actually the round trip with our Towncar (WDW to Sea World) is $65.00 (gratuity not included).
If you add the $30.00 for the rental, plus gas, plus parking at Sea World (I believe it is around $8.00), plus having to worry about returning the vehicle, and etc... with the risk of sounding partial  I think spending a few more $$$ to ride in a nice Towncar and have nothing to worry about is worth the while... Just my opinion of course.

My best regards,

Gregory Nicolas.

thanks for the info..... we have a "free rental coupon" since my father travels so much. he gets a few of these every year. so i was trying to take advantage of that... but if the only hertz rental place is at MCO (and potentially they would/wouldnt deliver) i was exploring the options of a cabbie etc etc
