Transportation to AKL from Boardwalk

I was wondering if anyone has any suggestions on getting to animal Kingdom Lodge from the Boardwalk for a 9:00 breakfast. I thought I had read that the AK bus also stops at the AKL but I don't ever remember that in the past. Thanks in advance for any suggestions :wave:
PS..I'm going to Disney in 8 days...YEAH!!!

That's a good one. Yes, the AK bus does go to AKL. You might want to get on the first bus from AKL and head to AK. Skip over to the loading/unloading area for the Boardwalk and get on that one. That's probably the easiest way without driving yourself.

This might take a while... so start early!

Hopefully there are Extra Magic Hours that morning. The buses for the EMH Park should start running at 7. Take a bus from Boardwalk to whatever park, then hop on the bus to AKL. I just don't remember if you can catch a bus from Boardwalk to Epcot or not so if Epcot is having EMH, that's not going to help much.

If there's no EMH, you might be able to go via AK but be at the bus stop at 8am or a little before to make sure you can get the first bus to AK in the morning. Once at AK, hop the bus to AKL.

what about getting the bus from animal kingdom lodge to epcot and walking through epcot to the boardwalk or even better what if you get the bus to mgm from animal kingdom lodge then get the boat to the boardwalk only if you dont mind being on a boat.

You mean the other way around? The OP is asking how to get TO animal kingdom lodge FROM boardwalk.

If Epcot has extra magic hours that might work but it's not exactly a quick walk through Epcot. Otherwise Epcot opens at 9 that wouldn't do any good.

I think the first suggestion of AKL to AK to BW would be the quickest. Another option would be to go from AKL to MGM and then either walk or take the boat to BW. If I am not mistaken going to Epcot would require going through the park which could present a problem if the park is not open yet.

my bad! i got the question mixed up. like everyone else said get the bus to the animal kingdom then get the animal kingdom lodge bus from there, im positive it would be quicker that way because its in the animal kingdom resort area.

Not a problem. Your way would still work just not that early in the morning.

its like people dont like taking there time walking through the park, i mean i understand if they want to be at the parks early or they have a reservation but there is nothing like a nice walk through any of the parks for me and it doesnt matter how long it takes just as long as im happy and enjoying myself.
anyone else like walking through the parks?

Idea

I just don't remember if you can catch a bus from Boardwalk to Epcot or not so if Epcot is having EMH, that's not going to help much.

There are no busses to EPCOT or MGM from any of the EPCOT RESORT AERA hotels. The only way to get to either of these parks is the Friendships or walking.

I think the quickest thing is to get on a Friendship from the Boardwalk to MGM, and when you get off the boat at MGM, the bus terminals are right at the end of the walkway to the AKL.
