Transportation Tips for the Treehouse Villas - how we saved some time and what we learned

First off, we learned that the boats from the Treehouse Villas to Disney Springs run every eighteen minutes 'during the day' and only when needed in the evening hours. The boat supervisor apparently also will take guests from the boat dock to Saratoga or Disney Springs unless you have a wheelchair in the party. If you have a wheelchair they will have to call over a boat or a boat from Port Orleans will radio in a pickup. This adds a bit of time to travels in the evening, especially if you have a wheelchair in your party!

The best thing we learned to save time when heading back to the resort from a theme park is to disembark at the Grandstand exit - the first one - and walk back to your treehouse. We were almost as far away as you can be (#7006) and we always saved time versus taking the bus from the last exit (The Springs - which is 5th) and taking the second bus from the Springs to the North (first) bus stop in the Treehouse loop. It is a very nice walk and we saw a bit of the wetland wildlife on the way back.

Besides the transportation waits the Treehouse was wonderful!
