Transportation Suggestions?

Here's my problem:

We're planning a trip in December. My son is afraid to fly, so we're going to drive down. My wife, aware that my son and I intend to have the fart battle to end all fart battles, will fly down.

I would much rather drive my car down than my wife's big, fat, obnoxious car (not to mention, we'll probably need the convertible to prevent asphyxiation).

We'd like to go to Sea World and Gatorland when we're there (probably on different days), but my car only has two seats.

Pam suggested Mears for Sea World, but I wasn't thinking of Gatorland at the time. She also commented that taxis would probably be pretty expensive.

Does anyone have any ideas? Would Mears go back and forth to gatorland? I could think about renting a car for two days. I saw something online about a National Car Rental at either the Swan or Dolphin, and I know there used to be one right outside the Magic Kingdom.

Anyone know how much something like that would cost?

Any other ideas or suggestions?

I'd just bug Pam with this, but I've been bugging her with so many other details over the past few weeks, I think she's getting sick of me (and some of you might have some ideas or suggestions Pam and I wouldn't think of).

Hey Gary,

Give Quicksilver a call/email for their pricing. www.quicksilver-tours.com

Have a great trip!! :)

Thanks! I had never heard about them until Pam booked my wife's airport transportation with them over the weekend. I may have to call to see how they would do it. As long as it wouldn't be too long of a wait when we're done after Sea World and Gatorland they may be the best option.

There might actually be something there. If I could get a Porsche 911 it would have a back seat (but I don't see any listed).

I've thought about renting a Ferrari before when I was in Las Vegas. I could rent one for a couple days, and we could use both cars.

I may have to think a bit more about something like that.

Wow! I never even noticed this whole section until Steve moved my thread in here.:hammer:

I should point out that Pam mentioned Quicksilver as an option for Sea World, but I didn't know much about them, so it sort of went right past me.

Mr. Nicolas, if you read this, do you do short trips like Sea World and Gatorland?

ONE WORD FOR you QUICKSILVER

WE just got back from WDW yesterday and Quicksilver was awesome. THey were there on time and right where they said they would be. We did not touch a bag. They loaded them right in the late model Caddy and off we went. WE had a thirty minute grocery stop at Publix which saved us a lot of money. The car was great, plush with leather seats and a Video TV that played NEmo which gave my five year old daughter something to do. They were there fifteen minutes early on our return trip and the driver was very professional and courteuous. We will use them again in our return trips in the future.
