Transportation Question - Caribbean Beach Resort

Getting ready to visit the World in early September and staying at CBR for the first time. I keep hearing negative things about the bus transportation to the parks from CBR. For those that have stayed there, in picking which 'Island' to stay in we are trying to balance reducing the number of stops we have to endure before we leave the resort vs. being at one of the last stops and risking that the bus will be too full before it arrives at our stop. Does anyone know what the first and last stops are on the CBR bus route and/or have any advice that might help in our decision of which 'Island' to request? Keep in mind we are going in September. Thanks!

P.S. Not concerned about anything else about the resort besides transportation since we have most of our questions answered and we do not care how far we are from the main pool or food court.

We used to stay in Martinique, actually requested it virtually every stay and used both the Old Port Royale and Martinique stops. The bus routes vary by park but MK, EC, HS usually were stops 1 & 2 with AK being a little later in the stop order.

The Bus Stop Order is a clockwise order from the resort map and used to be (up through last Christmas):

Martinique
Old Port Royale
Trinidad North
Trinidad South
Jamaica
Aruba
Barbados

If the bus uses the secondary resort entrance the first stop is Jamaica and moves through the order ending with Trinidad South.

Yes the buses are horrible here. Especially getting back from the parks. But we have always payed extra for preferred. Martinique and Trinidad north.

I did't really have much issue with the buses here. Trinidad North, Matinique were good locations. Unless you really want the pirate rooms avoid Trinidad SOUTH!

We got a preferred room and were placed in Martinique. We never had any problems with the bus. Plus we were a short walk away from the food court and main pool. It had a lovely beach with a nice hammock and we watched the higher fireworks from Illuminations there on a few nights. On several occasions our bus filled up before it had stopped at all of the stops and it did not stop at those but drove right by. I did hear the bus driver radio that another bus needed to come to pick up those stops. We also never had any trouble getting the bus back to the resort from the theme parks. I suggest requesting Martinique. CBR is a beautiful resort which we really enjoyed. Hope you enjoy it too.

We love CBR and have only stayed at anotjer resort once (short MVMCP trip.). We have stayed at Martinique every time. Never had an issue with transportation at all.

We have stayed in Martinique and Aruba. We like Aruba better because of the bridge to Old Port Royal , but Martinique seemed better location for using the bus.

Personally, I don't want to ever have to rely on Disney transportation again. The bus service seems to get worse every year no matter where you stay. I'm renting a car from now on.

Thanks for the input....we have stayed a number of times at Port Orleans Riverside and never had any major problems accept maybe when there are a couple of scooters to load (and then it makes a huge difference when the Driver has good experience loading them). We usually go in the fall which probably makes a big difference. The problems have never been not worth saving $14 per day parking or fighting a crowd to get out of the parking lot. First time at CBR though......

That's reasonable. Just to clarify though, if you stay on property you don't have to pay for parking. You get a parking pass. You do have to deal with the parking lot. So that's a case of picking the lesser of two evils. We went last fall and stayed at AoA which has a dedicated bus. It was still a nightmare. Those scooters just seem to be getting more and more common.
