I was thinking, what could give Test Track a good boost in design but yet keep the same theme? I mean technically Test Track could be considered perfect. Each part of the attraction leads you through the development of a car.
Design (signs and such outside, miss them if you take FP line)> Testing(inside line and ride) > Factory(first room after exiting) > Showroom (old transcenter)
Anyway, people still complain and don't seem to understand this concept thus making the ride imperfect. What I would believe would be a good idea could really help out the pavilian not attendance wise but making the pavilian an experience. Plus, the footprint is already layed out.
Building Expansion Construction Progress:
-Awning and supports are removed.
-Wall that used to not exist is removed.
-Permanent lage building is built in location of where the awning was, connecting to the building to where the wall used to be.
-Gift show exit moved to inside building. (old transcenter non-ride entrance).
Anyway, that construction could probably take 6 months to do but Disney is so slow now with construction... I honestly don't see how they can be. I mean they used to build things really fast.
Basically the new area would be a multilevel exhibit on Concept cars. Basically it would be the transcenter. A theatre could be located in it and other stuff like that. In the center would be a model city like the old WoM one. The line for Test Track would also be reconfigured to be multilevel and take up less room. All the themeing though would not be removed.
The Post show would be reorganized too so people can understand the concept more.
It wouldn't be much of an expansion. The cost would probably end up at less than 20 million dollars. I mean it isn't really much. No new ride, just exhibits.
