Transportation from Cruise to Disney to Airport Question...

So we are planning on taking the DME from the airport when we arrive to the resort. Then from the resort we paid the $70 fee to get from the resort to the cruise. One the day we return from the cruise we are considering paying the $70 again to get us from the cruise to Disney World, but how do we then get from Disney world to the airport later that evening? is it included with the $70 fee? do we just arrange our own transportation? I have no clue how this is going to work.

My plan is to get off the ship. either rent a car or use Disney's transportation, head to Disney world for the day and then catch a 6:30pm flight back home. I have done this in the past but we were staying at the resort and I rented a car so we just went from resort to Hotel with 2 hours before departure. But I am not sure how we do this going from Cruise, to Disneyworld, then to Airport. Any help appreciated.

Hi,

as an alternate option we offer transfers to and from WDW and the Port for $285.00 (towncar) and $310.00 (van); depending on how many people in your party it could save you a lot. As for your return to the airport it is $65.00 (towncar) or $75.00 (van). Magical express will not bring you back to the airport if you were not their guest that morning.

Thanks for the response Quicksilver. So we can get a van that holds up to 10 people for $310 to pick us up from the resort and bring us to port the day of the cruise? as well as a van back for $310 to WDW. and then arrange to have a van bring us when we are done from the park to the airport for $75? Any idea what we would do with our luggage while at the park? Does the park have a luggage check? LOL

if so this might be the way we go. are there any hidden fees, taxes, etc? I only ask because I took a cab once from a resort off property to the contemporary and I was charged the entrance fee of like $25 or something like that by the cab driver and I had no idea of that ahead of time.

The $310.00 rate actually is for the round trip, not each way. ;-)

As for your luggage I'm not sure if there is a place to store it at the park; Try giving them a call and I'm sure they will have a good solution.

Oh, there are NO hidden fees at all; only thing not included in our rates is driver's gratuity (20% for out of town transfers).

Regards,

Gregory Nicolas.

Thank Gregory, @Quicksilver

After discussing with the family we are really considering arranging the Van to pick us up at our resort on Disney property and bringing us to Port the morning of our cruise. I think it will end up saving us a little money as well as I am hoping we can arrange it so that we arrive before the Disney Resort buses do. Can you quote me a one way trip from Disney Resort to Port? The van holds up to 10 people correct? We currently have 6 in our party but may have a few more. And if everyone goes this route we would need probably two vans. We are still gathering info on what everyone has planned for their mode of transportation. Also because I know some family may ask.. Do you offer a quick pit stop to a grocery store so we can grab some essentials like liquor, etc.. ;) on our way to port? you can private message me or post it on here either way works. Thanks
