Transportation from Airport to WDW

Hey everyone,

We are leaving in just over a month for our honeymoon to WDW! I have a rental car reserved, but it'll be $200 for the week, and we really don't need it other then to get to and from the airport.

What is everyone's favorite method of transporation? How much does it cost?

We'd kind of like to stop at a grocery store to grab a few things on the way, but its not totally necessary.

Your ideas would be appreciated! Thanks!

I think you should keep with the car rental - you mention grocery shopping, you may wish to do other theme parks in Orlando during your stay. Yes, the rental is expensive but theres no hassel in waiting for a bus or cab and you can go where you want, when you want.

 Congrats on your upcoming marriage.

We have used Tiffany Towncar for the last 5 times we have gone to wdw and will be using them again when we go next week. They are extremely reliable and the drivers are very nice and friendly. I know it's your honeymoon, but the will even stop at the store (included in the price). There is a $5 coupon on their website (www.tiffanytowncar.com) or if you buy a passporter (which is great because not only does it give you good info it contains pockets for all you papers, hotel confirm, etc.)there is an $8 off coupon.

you can rent the car for the day from national, do all your grocery shopping on your way to disneyworld and then drop off your car at the national car care center on disney property. Then maybe you could just take the mears shuttle or something back to the airport.

For your honeymoon? I would definitely go with a towncar. And several of them make stops at the grocery store for 15 minutes on the way to the hotel. The shuttle picks you up 3 hours before your flight and it takes longer to get to the hotel when you arrive because you have to ride around making stops at lots of hotels.... Enjoy some "private time" on your way to the hotel after that long flight. :)

And as someone else said, you can rent a car for a single day on-site. :)

Tiffany Towncar was great. The driver meets you in baggage and you're driven straight to your hotel with a stop at the grocery store on the way. It costs about $80 plus tip for a RT. Assuming you're staying at a WDW resort and you aren't planning on visiting any other attractions in Orlando, the rental car will be a waste of money. Disney buses are efficient from the resorts to the parks. Plus I like not having a car when down there. Not having to fight through traffic, looking at a map, pumping gas, etc. just adds to the "removal from reality" that occurs at Disney. Use the money you save for a special dinner at Victoria and Albert's at the Grand Floridian. Congratulations by the way. It should be a wonderful trip.

Tiffany Town Cars and other orlando attractions

 The first time we used Tiffany we went to universal studios first (sorry guys). The picked us up at the airport and drove us to our hotel. Then when we moved on to disney they picked us up and drove us to our hotel in disney. When we left they picked us up in disney and drove us to the airport. I forget how much extra it was, but it wasn't too much.
