Transportation at All Stars Movies?

I heard that the All Stars hotels all share the same bus route so it takes a little longer to get to the parks because it has to make 3 stops. So my question is what time does the first bus leave in the morning? Do they leave at the same exact time every day? We want to be there for the rope drop. Is there any chance we won't make it in time because of the route sharing?

We've only stayed at the an All-Star Resort once (Movies) but the buses were faster than Pop the 2 times we stayed there. We're planning to stay at Music this December and will hopefully be back in Movies next Sept pre/post cruise. My understanding is they only share during non-peak hours so the mornings/evenings should be fine. I can't confirm this though since it's been 6 years since Movies for us... I do know we watched many Movie/Music/Sports buses go by while waiting for Pop buses both years.

Buses start running at 6:30ish in the morning (even though they will tell you they start 1 hour before rope drop). As mentioned, busy times typically won't share, they also often dispatch more buses. Usually 30 mins early is a safe window, but it depends on the crowd already at the bus stop. There is a chance you may not make the bus and have to wait for the next one to come.

We stayed at Movies for our honeymoon in 2013, occasionally the bus would be full and we would have to wait for another one. It didn't happen very often though. As long as you are prepared for that possibility it should happen less often then you think. Get in the line as early as you can to give yourself time and you should be fine. Good luck.

I stayed at the All Star Music resort in May and we had our own bus to and from the park because, as it was said before, the summer is a peak season. You will most definitely make it to rope drop if you leave with enough time. If you'd like, when you arrive, ask the front desk how the busses are running in terms of where they are stopping so that you can coordinate more accurately what time you should leave! Enjoy the trip!
