Hi,I will be in Orlando for 3 weeks in mid October 2014,but do not plan on hiring a car.I will be staying at a airport Ramada hotel at MCO.
Wondering if anyone can assist on some advice on travelling on the public transport and best way to get to and from WDW from MCO.

Thank you

You can probably take the Orlando LYNX bus service for $4 or $5 per person per trip. However, that takes about 45 minutes per trip.

The LYNX 300, 301, or 302 buses will take you to pretty much anywhere on property.

I urge you to rent a car. Even though there may be alternate transportation available, from out there you will be at the mercy of their schedule or high prices. Car rentals in that area are very reasonable and you can then get on your own schedule and do what you want, when you want. When you consider how much you are going to be spending, this will be one of the most reasonable expense you will encounter. MCO is at least 14 miles away from WDW, if not further.

I'll second this as service to the parks is only on a "select" schedule.

The consistent buses only run to the Transportation and Ticket Center and Downtown Disney West Side. From the Transportation and Ticket Center you will need to go to one of the Monorail Resorts or the Magic Kingdom and then take a bus. From Downtown Disney West Side you will need to get to a Resort and take a bus. You're probably looking at two hours each way if you get really lucky, and should expect longer.
