She got another donor

Just a plea to all of you to sign your donor cards, and make sure your family knows your wishes.

The hospital staff will ask your family, and what your next of kin says overrides your donor card.

Because we had talked about this, when we received the news that brain death had occurred, we didn't really have to think about it.

That was 4 years ago, and I still don't regret making the donation.

she got her new organs this am (2/20) She seems to be doing OK. The hosp admitted their error right away....what do you know!

Last I heard she was in a 50/50 situation.

Still not a sure thing.

just heard that she had to be taken back to surgery to put a shunt into her brain to drain the blood(Her brain has started to bleed and is now swelling). This doesn't look good...don't expect her to live for too much longer. May God have mercy on her soul...
