Transferring to another park/position BEFORE 6 months?

Is it possible to be able to do this? I know cast members are generally supposed to wait 6 months before they are able to transfer but is there a way to get around this rule? I currently work part time at a quick service restaurant in magic kingdom and I barely get scheduled for work. I worked only 6 hours last week and I just looked at my schedule on the hub and it says I'm off for the next 2 weeks! What? I have bills to pay and I'm not getting any hours!

If its a part time to full time transfer, technically yes, because that is considered a promotion, but it just depends on the wait lists for the lines of business and the areas you put in for.

Thanks for the tip! So let's say I did transfer to full time and I requested to go from quick service to let's say attractions...would they still place me in the same park as I was before or would they randomly put me anywhere like it was when I first got hired?

Unless you specified a specific location or restaurant you wanted, it would probably be random. When I put in for FT for attractions I got to pick five locations.

Though say an attractions CM and quick service CM both put in for attractions at the same time, the attractions cast member would be selected before the food and beverage CM I believe, since they're coming from the same line of business.

Line of business doesn't matter. Union Seniority is what matters when they pick people from the list.

In the union contract, at least the part time contract, the order goes:
Top senior part time employee statused to job classification and property of the vacancy.
Top senior part time employee statused to the job classification of the vacancy.
Top senior part time employee statused to the property of the vacancy.
Top senior part time employee.

So they're going to pick somebody from the same line of business before they would pick somebody from another line of business, unless the position is unable to be filled by somebody from the same line of business.
