I got some good news today from Disney about my trip. We're going in September, staying 3 nights at All Star Movies and then going to Old Key West for 5 nights.

We don't have to worry about taking any buses or anything. When we check out of the Movies Resort, they will take our bags directly over to Old Key West. We can go wherever we want, not waste any time or money with a cab, and then just take the bus from whatever park we're at back to Old Keyt West, check in, get our bags, and we're all set.

Now THAT I like.

Sometimes they get thing right!

So many people do this that I'm sure they are pros at it. I've never tried changing mid vacation but it sounds like fun.

We went "resort-hopping" for the first time this past December. It saves money if you want to go for an extended time and stay in a nice resort, but having to repack everything and re-settle into a new room was a little annoying when you just want to relax. It will be fun to experience 2 different resorts though.

The past few trips I've gone down, I've switched hotels.. usually days at Port Orleans... and then 3 at one of the deluxe hotels. It's a great change of pace staying in those hotels... but it's funny because 3 nights at one of them costs more than 7 nights at one of the moderate hotels :)

We got a FANTASTIC deal. We're renting a time share room at Old Key West - $500 for 5 nights!!!!

Of course, I can't go to Disney for just 5 nights, so we're doing 3 nights at All Star Movies as well.

The fact that they're moving the luggage just makes it so much easier. We can go enjoy our day, and just check in when we get to our new hotel. That's perfect!
