Traditions and Training

I was already down on the college program this past year and I'll be doing it again in January. I'll be doing the same job this time as I did last time (Entertainment) and I was wondering if I had to go though the whole Traditions and Training stuff again.

I don't think that you have too. When I was going to become FT this summer, I wasn't going to have to go through Traditions again.

I guess if you really wanted to, you probally could. I mean you do get paid.

Usually it occurs when you change roles dramatically, and when you go to a different part or resort then you obviously have to go through that park's particular training, such as DAKlimations for Animal Kingdom, or Oce Upon a Time is Now for MK, etc.

err..

Discovery Day - Epcot
DAKlimations - AK

not sure about the studios or other areas though.

I never took anything after traditions... however, I took the older long traditions which covered almost everything

*clears throat* ;)

Dang it the MGM one is on the tip of my tongue. And I am so jealous of Discovery Day, you get introduced to the guests on stage and the end of the day in costume with music and everything. All parks should do that, what a way to really get some pride going. But DAKlimations is fun. Except that I was so gun ho about being a CM that I stopped to help these really confused guests while my group was touring the park and hten I got seperated...:hammer:

Maybe CP CM don't get that for Discovey Day. We didn't make it onstage in costume, just toured the park with our nametags and earning our ears tag. No music, no real introduction to guests, other than if they asked or around us long enough.

Thanks for you help. I think I will go through training again only because the first time I was down there I met my best friends in training and traditions. It's a good way to meet people.
