I'm interested in trading in a couple ps2 games I never play anymore to a local EB or Gamestop. How much should I expect to get towards another game?

It depends on what games you are trading in.
The price is based on how many they have in the warehouse/demand for the game/ how much the game is retailing for.
You can expect to get anywhere from $5- $25 on average. Some will pull in a slightly higher price ($30), but again - it depends on the previous conditions.
