Track Systems: SDMT vs SDD

Just curious, for those of you who have had the chance to ride the new Slinky Dog coaster, is the track system somewhat similar to Seven Dwarfs Mine Train?

Is the thrill level slightly higher with the acceleration points?

They’re by two different manufacturers. Seven Dwarfs Mine Train is by Vekoma and Slinky Dog Dash is by Mack Rides.

Which made me wonder about the Mine Train's Swaying tech and utilizing it down the road and put it on Everest....The G-force would do one heck of a number and might distract you from that Disco Dancing Yeti...I can dream...

They'll probably consider doing that before fixing the yeti.

Given the rider size limitations of those mine train vehicles, I can't see Disney, or any else for that matter, rushing out to implement this system again.

It does make me wonder, though whether the turns on Mine Train were intentionally underbanked to induce the cars to swing in some places. You would think that if Vekoma wanted to they could have engineered the track so as to minimize quick lateral forces.
