I don't know if this is the right area for a TR, but the other TR area is for WDW, so here I go.

I planned on going to SW today, but with the weather not looking so great, I went to USF instead, since I heard The Mummy was back open.

I got into the park at about 2pm,(I had to park in Jaws 518, which is the furthest point from the park) and headed straight for The Mummy. The ride was open, still in tech previews. The wait said 20 minutes, but it was more like 5 minutes once you made it through the very long queue (ppl were backed up to the bottom of the stairs). Also, I noticed that The Mummy will have a single rider line!!!

I must say they have added a bunch of special effects since the tech previews in March. The ride ops kept repeating that more will be added before the grand opening on 5/21.

I thought the ride was great, I rode about 5 times. Each time, I noticed something that I had not noticed before. It is a great ride, and much better than Kongfrontation, which it replaced.

---Side note, Universal is on quite a role with replacing attractions with better attractions. Shrek 4-D is better than Hitchcock, Jimmy Neutron is better that FWoHB, and Mummy is better than Kongfrontation...lets hope the trend continues. (Disney could learn a thing or two here)

After that, I headed over to MIB, and took the single rider line, which was about 10 minutes long.

A quick ride on BttF....The state of this ride makes me said, it used to be so great.

After that, I rode Jimmy Neutron, which cracks me up....esp the chicken dance part:D

The longest wait for me was Shrek 4-D at a bout 30 minutes....they needed to make the theater larger.

--Side note...NBC has really come in to the park in full force. At the front entrance, there is a sign with the new NBC-Universal logo, and the new tag line "Imagine the Possibilities" Also, in front of the main gift shop, some signs that the stores now carry NBC and NBC Sports merch.

I then went back to The Mummy, but it was closed down, so I left.

Wait Times that I noticed (Sunday Afternoon)
Shrek 4-D 30-40 minutes
Jimmy Neutron 10-15 minutes
Twister 10 minutes
The Mummy 20 minutes (posted) but not that long
Earthquake 15 minutes
MIB 40 minutes, single rider was 10 minutes
Bttf 10 minutes (one cycle)
ET 15 minutes

That's it folks...take care!
