Toy Story still replacing Aladdin?

I remember reading on the Disney Parks Blog that a Toy Story show will replace Aladdin. Is this still the case? If so, has work started on this? TIA.

They should put Aladdin in DHS. That would be a terrific addition. Also the IJ ride.

Mermaid and BatB both need to go away. Those shows are sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo old. Those theaters need some fresh attractions. Alladin would be great for DHS.

No theater in DHS is able to hold the show. The only venue is possibly the Theater in the Wild at DAK, but Aladdin does not fit at DAK. And I doubt TDO is about to pour big bucks into a new theater when there's one sitting empty in DHS at the moment. :fork:

That would be awesome. Maybe as a replacement for VOTLM after the ride opens in the MK.

Obviously you guys haven't seen the Aladdin show at DCA. It wouldn't fit in any of the current venues at WDW, maybe where Nemo is but even that would involve scaling back. Also just because they are opening a TLM ride at MK doesn't mean they have to get rid of VOTLM, completely unrelated. Nemo has a show and a whole pavillion, Toy Story has multiple rides. I think The Little Mermaid as one of Disney's best can have a stage show and a ride.

Agreed. Though I think that an E-ticket can be built on the location where Beauty and the Beast is sitting on today. Mermaid is definitely outdated lets face it folks, so replacing it and getting rid of all the little princess elements at HS to only focus them at MK would be more than great.

Hope it won't come in WDW, i've had about enough of the nemo/toy story invasions.


Now I wouldn't mind Disney making a Monsters Inc. dark ride like the one in Disneyland! Or maybe even "UP" replacing Soarin'

But over-all, I didn't care much for the screens shooting virtual pies at animated figures, as well as seeing buzz & woody meet & greets every 5 minutes i walk around.

Then finding nemo has it's ups and downs as the show is pretty good, but replacing The Living Seas with it has made me have a hate on the fishy pixar movie... :goodnevil

I'd like Disney to make a Pocahontas dark ride in that forest area they're making in the expansion, but I guess it'll be taken up by the snow white roller coaster.
