Both kids are both tall enought for tower or terror. Both really want to go on it. One is 8 and one is 4. What are some of your experiences bringing younger kids on that ride? Did they love it, did they hate it?? Thanks!

I don't think I've ever seen a kid that wanted to ride have a bad experience. Most of the freaking out I've witnessed is from kids who DIDN'T want to go on but mom and dad dragged them along anyways. If they're sobbing when you walk into the queue, better reconsider. But if they're excited to go, I wouldn't worry about it. Don't forget that if you go overboard warning them about what to expect, you might actually end up freaking them out more than calming them down.

Below is the ride picture of my youngest's first ride on ToT at the ripe old age of 4. Her smile tells you all you need to know how she liked it.

My 5 year old just got tall enough, I have shown him videos of it and he is on the fence. If the day of he decides not to I will honor that.

I think if you show the 4 year old ahead of time and they are still game then go ahead.

I don't have kids, but I do have a fun story.

The first time I rode ToT, my friend didn't want to go, but I'm a huge Twilight Zone fan so I braved it by myself. I almost chickened out because I'm a little scared of elevators anyway. The little guy in front of me in line, probably about 4, spent the whole boiler room telling me all about how it was his favorite ride and how I shouldn't be scared. He ended up sitting next to me on the ride, and patted my arm as the door closed, telling me I would love it. He was right, it's my favorite now, too!
