I was just at WDW a few weeks ago, and in the TOT gift shop I saw a Tower of Terror movie starring Steve Guttenberg (Police Academy) and Julia Stiles (Save the Last Dance). Has any one seen this movie or bought it when they were down there? Just wondering what it was about.

It's about.... about.... :hurl:

It's not very good. I taped it from Disney Channel last Halloween.

Know how the Country Bears movie looks like it's so far from what we hoped it would be... well, this is a lot worse. It's worth a look I guess, but I wouldn't buy it.

I didn't think it was that bad. A typical disney family made for tv movie. I would wait to see it on the disney channel or on ABC. Its not a movie you would watch over and over but it explains the tower hotel in detail and there is a nice little story.

Don't waste your money on buying the movie.

Watch the Disney Channel enough and it will show up on there or on ABC Family. Or you could just rent it if the local video store has it.

Disney TV movies, in general, are really bad, and this one was no exception. It might have been ok if they hadn't done things like make the ghosts friendly and asking for help, and, get this, the elevator falls because of a witch that put a curse on the building. No joke! Very lame!

I caught this movie on TV after visiting ToT a couple of years in a row. The movie was pretty lame, but because we are such fans we got a cheap thrill from the couple of shots of the actual tower. Don't bother buying it, not worth it, but I have seen it in the video store...

I actually enjoyed it quite a bit. I mean it isnt a high profile movie but for a ToT fan and WDW fan for that matter it should be a fun hour or hour and a half. Come on guys at least it kept most of the story from the ride the same. The Country Bears has nothing to do with the show. This is at least closer to being right that that one :animwink:
