Tower of Terror drops

Should the Tower of Terror drop setups stay the same as they are now, with the doors open and you overlooking the park......OR, do you think it would make for a scarier ride by keeping the drops and everyone in the elevator in pitch blackness?

Sudden drops in the dark are terrifying to be sure --- and I believe the current drop sequence has one or two --- but to me, looking out and seeing how far I'm about to drop only adds to the adrenaline!

I have only been on TOT once, but think the drop sequence is fine as it is now...

Keep the doors closed? Thats a stupid idea. Nobody wants to drop entirely in the dark. You would lose a good deal of the effect too from not knowing how high you are.

If youi don't know you are falling from so far up, it aint as scary.

You wouldn't lose anything. Sure, they can lift you to the top, open the doors and you can look out and see how high up you are, but then I think they should close the doors again, kind of shake the elevator a little bit, and THEN do the drops. That's definitely better than the way they have it now.

Yeah maybe, but i love the feeling when your just on the balance between going up and dropping down. If they stopped it at the top you'd lose that.

Maybe, but from where you are, you can't really see much of the park outside unless you happen to be sitting in the front rows. Otherwise, it really doesn't make a difference. It's certainly nothing like the Drop Zone ride they have in the Paramount Parks where you're not confined IN the building but rather have the outside all around you which actually IS scary.

I think that the Tower of Terror drops are fine the way they are I like when the doors open and you look out and can see the whole park and you know how far up you are.

I disagree I sit in the back rows all the time and I can see the park just fine. I think the drops should be left the way they are. Maybe add another one too

I already know that's not true, since all you can see is only what's directly in front of you. Part of the building obstructs the view off to the sides.
