I heard somewhere that the Tower or Terror will be closing for refurb in Septemebr. I was curious cause my family will be going to WDW Sept 12-20 2003. We did not ride it last year, but planned on riding this ride this year? Does anyone have any info on this? My first post:sohappy:

IF the rumors are true( l've heard only one side is going down and also heard the whole thing), the rehab starts September 17th. So you should be able to get your fix.

MGMStudios.com is in no way shape of form related to The Walt Disney Company, nor is it in anyway shape or form part of the Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer Studiod Company.

so don't take waht they say as an absolute fact.

i guess it's good that mgmstudios.org isn't an official site, but then again, many internet sites aren't yet still provide pretty accurate information.

If this rehab happens, let's hope it's true that one side at a time will be worked on. I'll be there from the 5th to 11th of October and I'd hate to have to miss it.

and the same goes for this site and many other fan sites...

The only Official site about WDW is disneyworld.com (as far as I know)

Many here use sources of fan sites such as this one wdwmagic.com to get our information. All the sites try to give a heads up with what is going on. Sometime they are very acurate, sometimes rumors, and sometimes WDI changes their train of production and everyone from website manager to cast member is wrong.

The rumer of ToT and RnR have been up and down for a while now. It is definite that they will be down sometime soon. Possibly we now have a date on the rehabs for them. No matter what the source.

Keep an open mind and let others help you out from time to time.

Ok Gang I got ansie and called WDW Guest Relations yesterday and asked them about the rumored closings of ToT, RnRC, BTMR, etc, and the Relations Rep assured me that RnRc is not experiencing any brake problems, and it is not scheduled to be rehabbed in Sept....at least not at this time.....They apparantly just updated ToT earlier this year which includes the new function to allow each ride a different experience, etc with all new computer software.

Now.....im not sure if they are supposed to tell people that, or not, but i am hoping that is the truth. She told me that Disney never shuts that many main popular attractions down at one time or that close together..................so ya'll make up your own mind on what to believe.....but hopefully this info is accurate.

I don't trust the phone side of things as much as people around here. Last time I called Disney about stuff like this (Osborne Lights) about two weeks ago they said the show will still be going as normal. We all know for a fact that residential street is gone and that is not true. I also called and asked about the M:S preview for AP's and they said there was no such thing. two days later in the mail we got our invite for M:S.

I am not a fan of the phone side of Disney for what is and is not working because they have been more wrong than right for me.
