Tower of Terror 1, 2, 3, 4

Hi everyone!

I rode ToT for the first time this summer... I must say this was AMAZING!
But since I only had the opportunity to ride Tower4, do you know a site (except www.tower-of-terror.com) with the whole story of the Tower (including the various evolutions...).

For instance, what was ToT like, back in 1994?

I'm pretty sure that the drop sequences are the only major changes to the tower over the years. I do know that there has been some cycling of props among the libraries and a few special effects added (such as the ghosts in the drop shaft) but I'm pretty sure that the story itself hasn't changed much since the opening. However, I too have only personally experienced TOT4. Hope this was a little helpful.

The Storyline has always been the same, crossing the 5th diminsion has been the same since it opened.

Leo is correct, the only thing that has changed are the drop seqences, the girl in the shaft, the lightning in the shaft, and the lap bars (Some cars now have lap belts).

Also If I remember the 5th Dimension (Where your Car rolls forward) was changed slightly. They used to take your picture and play it in the big eyeball as you roll past, but now they just use a generic picture

They ALL do now. I seem to remember the 1994 version...

After the 5th Dimension, the elevator travels up, slowly, to the horton doors, but they dont open. Instead, they had this light come down, and you fell, then went back up, doors opened, you fell, and that was it. Makes you happy we got Tow4r now huh?
