Tours and Fireworks

We have planned a trip for late May for my husband and I and my parents to celebrate birthday/anniversary/life! Since my parents are older, does anyone know anything about the Backstage Safari Tour at AK? Is it alot of walking/strenuous or are there times you stop and "rest" while listening to your guide?
Also, we would like to take them on a Fireworks Cruise but don't know which is the best?
Thanks for your input!

Not sure about a fireworks cruise at all but im pretty sure the backstage safari is a riding experience in a vehicle a little smaller and more enclosed than the normal safari vehicles.

The backstage safari does do a bit of walking...but it isn't continuous for the 4 hours. You will stop to look at things and listen to your guide, but at those times there is a good chance you will be standing. There is a part of the safari where you go on a special Kilimanjaro Safari.
