Touring Plan for an Evening at MK?

I know how important it is to get to the parks early, especially at busy times of the year. We'll be arriving March 22nd so I'm expecting some crazy spring break crowds.

But on our arrival day I'm thinking getting some rides out of the way (if you could call it that) will make it easier on us for the day we go back...eliminate some of the backtracking etc. Plus who wants to land in FL & *not* head to the parks right away! :)

Any suggestions for touring MK if you can't get there until 4 or 5 pm? It's open until 10pm the night we'll be there.

Thanks!

Shoot over to Frontierland and grab a fastpass for Splash Mountain or BTMR then grab some dinner at Liberty Tree Tavern. After dinner, use your fastpass. Then jump on line for the Haunted Mansion.

Good luck:D I doubt during Spring Break that there will be any fast passes left for anything by your arrival time.

Just pick the part of MK with the rides you want to get out of the way and spend your evening there. If there are fast passes left great, if not you will be where you want to be.

Make it a slow relaxing night. You will be tired and it is a vacation.

It would be a good idea to get a fast pass for a ride you want, then eat dinner, then go on that ride, but who knows when that fastpass will be valid. If worst comes to worst just stand in line for your favorite rides. Have a great time.

That's what I was thinking. Are there any rides that load pretty quickly & usually don't have long lines? Maybe Country Bears & Pirates? Hopefully I can sneak on Splash Mountain during Wishes.

I'd head to Space Mountain and get in line (If you can't get a fast pass). It's going to be a wait, but it's always a good ride!

If they have two Spectromagic Parades that night, catch the second one, and try to ride as many things as you can while people watch the first parade! The wait times get shorter (not by a lot) during the first night parade!

Have fun!

The PotC line usually moves very fast:) The wait for Country Bears depend on when you walk in. If you walk in right after a show has started you will wait the lenth of the show. If you luck out you might walk in just as a show is ending.:D

If you do Tomorrow Land the TTA is a walk on. Buzz should be a reasonable wait as it gets latter and many people with young kids leave or head for Spectro and Wishes.

If CoP is open, ride it.:) There shouldn't be more than a five minute wait.

The Haunted Madsion line usually moves fairly well. In any event I would just go to have a good time and relax, it's a vacation.:D

heehee! I hear ya. I'm trying to plan now so that we're able to relax more once we're there, instead of running around trying to cram everything into 1 day.

It costs a lot for us to go so unfortunately we probably won't be back for another 10 years. :(

Go on a busy ride or two during a parade. For example, you could probably hit both Splash and Thunder Mtn during a showing of Spectromagic. You might even be able to head on over to the Haunted Mansion afterwards.

You could also do this in Fantasyland (Peter Pan, Winnie the Pooh, Philharmagic), and Tomorrowland (Space Mtn, Buzz Lightyear)

depends

It all depends on what you want to do. Generally when my wife and I drive up to Disney we leave work an hour early and get to the property a couple hours before closing. If you want to watch a fireworks show and parade you'll need to immediately scout your spot, however, if you want to do rides......................this is the best time. When everyone is lining up for parades and/or fireworks, the lines are extremely small on other things.
