Tour for Grandparents

I am traveling in June with my parents and one morning we are taking the kids to Typhoon Lagoon. I thought I would send the Grandparents on a tour. Which one? Anyone have any suggestions? I thought the Keys to the Kingdom would be nice, but not sure about all the walking.

Heading for the great escape.
I did the undiscovered future world at Epocot. Its not as much walking and theres time in nice air conditioned buildings where theres a chance to sit and take on fluid. As well as being informative and entertaining there was a chance to ride a few attractions and a ticket for the viewing area opposite Italy for Illuminations.

Before going through the trouble and expense of booking a tour, I'd make sure that they really would like to go. They might just want to take the day off and relax or enjoy some of the activities at the hotel. Because we always are go, go, go to the parks, we sometimes forget that the hotels have some nice things to do as well.

Wow - Hold on a minute. There's definitely two ways of reading this, and the first time I read the thread it sounded like :-
"we're going to Typhoon Lagoon and we don't want the grandparents with us, so we'll pack 'em off on some walking tour somewhere"
I definitely think you need to check with them - while a Disney Tour may be a nice surprise, they may want to stick with the family or rest some place else.

Definitely let THEM plan their own free day.

I can tell you from experience...the tours are a LOT of standing/walking. I wouldn't send my parents or grandparents on it! You really have to WANT to know what goes on behind the scenes...not everyone does!

My Mom and Dad really enjoyed their day off in the middle of our week down there for their Anniversary last year. I was curious to see what they would do without us.

They did WAY more than I ever would have planned, including Resort hopping on the monorail, boating around the Boardwalk area, and having lunch and shopping at Downtown Disney! When we all got back to the Hotel at the end of the day and knocked on their room, they had left a note that they were having dinner and drinks down by the pool! God Bless THEM!!!
