I seriously haven’t been able to get the song out of my head for, what seems like, years now....

Who remembers this period of Minnie Mouse back in the 80’s? It was certainly interesting.

I once saw the Totally Minnie special on youtube during a disney deep dive back in the early 2000s. What a trip, it was absolutely nuts. The most notable thing was it starred Elton John as some nerdy unpopular kid which Minnie, apparent high authority of all things popular, helps out not only become popular (by changing his look, a total bad message that even cartoons back then told against) and get the girl.
I would only recommend just for the curiosity and bizzareness of the whole thing.
