Top Ten Villains of All Time

I was just searching the net for who knows what when I found this article. I was amazed at the vastness of villains and that a Disney villian made the list...

interesting list. I would agree with most of them. Mr. Potter from It's a Wonderful Life was more of a pain the a** to me and Ursa from The Little Mermaid bothers the crap out of me. Maybe we should start our own scariest Disney villain poll.

Before we do a poll like that, I think we need to determine exactly what we are trying to do. Here is the definition of a vamp: A woman who uses her s ex appeal to entrap and exploit men.

So, are we looking for villains or vamps? I wouldn't call Cruella or Medusa a vamp by that definition!

its more the cruella madame medusa and even yzma type villains... the ones that are very over the top with dress and makeup, but still wild vilanous women.

lest you think I'm about all this (I'm really not!), diva doesn't fit them either. A diva is an operatic prima donna! We gotta come up with a better term for them. How about vixen: A woman regarded as quarrelsome, shrewish, or malicious.

i dunno... i wouldn't go with vixen, because to me that kinda makes the villain really s exy in a way... these villain's arent that great looking, but have the big hair the big makeup the OTT dress just to bring out their beauty... to me, a vixen would be that seductive woman from atlantis (forgot her name) she didn't need all the fuss to exadurate her beauty, unlike the classic disney "women" villains.

as thomas schumacher (president of walt disney feature animation) mentions the words - Operatic, Over the top, big scale disney villain - to explain yzma's character

mark dindal (director) mentions the word - wild diva roll - to explain yzma's character.

this was taken from the making of on the DVD of the emperor's new groove...

1) Maleficent, ooooh she's bad...
2) Madame Medusa - She's haleriously over the top!
3) yzma - an apsolutely halerious and irresistable character you gotta love her!
4) Cruella - C'mon, she's evil for the sake of fashion, lol
5) Evil queen (snow white) - a little vein(sp?)?
