Top 5 Attractions...

1) Tower of Terror- Just masterful storytelling from start to finish, combined with some thrills and scares.
2) Splash Mountain- What ToT is to freefall rides, SM is to the classic log flume. It adds story, depth, and most of all warmth to what is usually just a by the numbers affair.
3) Living With The Land- Probably the purest remnant of Epcot's original mission statement, it's a calm fun boat ride with educational elements. The green house where you can actually see how this is applied in an actual real-life environment is what really sells this.
4) Maharajah Jungle Trek- Certainly, there's something to be said for the Kilimanjaro Safaris and the other animal attractions at DAK, but I think this is the standout. The theming of a decaying Indian temple/ palace adds a layer of drama to seeing the animals. It's just magical.
5) That One You Love The Most- Sure, anyone who's flipped through a book about Imagineering can tell you the merits and flaws of any particular ride, but at the end of the day, you don't care. There's that one ride that will always have a special place in your heart no matter what it is or how corny others may see it.

1) Tower of Terror - I love everything about this attraction, the theming, the story but most of all the ride itself. It is even better when you ride it at night.
2) Rockin' Roller Coaster - I like this one simply for the ride itself. The feeling of pure acceleration at the start and then the combination of fast turns and loops in the dark with the neon lights whilst listening to Aerosmith.
3) Kilimanjaro Safari's - This is always a family favourite when we visit, we all love animals and always get to see at least 80% of the animals every time we ride.
4) Splash Mountain - The blueprint for Log Flooms, I love the story and I love the ride. Theming makes it better and I loved it when I first rode it in 2001 on my first trip and always will.
5) Star Tours - I know the storyline is a bit patchy and all over the place and its essentially a motion simulator but I am a huge Star Wars fan and would feel cheated if I didn't ride this when I visit. I love the queue also.

I could not agree more with anything you said, the one I have neglected is the Jungle Trek, which I plan on giving more time to this trip. The one I love that my wife and daughter disliked was Captain EO, it was corny but classic 80's and I loved it. Thanks

I also agree with your choices they are all great, and I am a massive Star Wars fan, so even though it makes me little queasy, I still ride it again and again. Thanks!

I agree and I think SSE and TTA don't often get the respect they deserve, two of my favorites! Thanks!

Test Track - Love it!
Spaceship Earth - Been a favorite since the first time in 1984 that I rode it!
COP - Relaxing and enjoyable
Haunted Mansion - Theming, music.
Splash Mountain - Theming, music, drops...fun!

I can't argue with any other those, it is the theming that Disney does best!

1. Haunted Mansion
2. PoTC
3. Spaceship Earth
4. Splash Mountain
5. Peter Pan's Flight

So I like dark rides and animatronics and nostalgia. And water is okay too. And details. Mini thrills.

Some of the newer dark rides seem sparse - Nemo, Little Mermaid.... it's disappointing.

I agree the dark rides and the nostalgia are some of the best parts of Disney. We are due for a few new ones hopefully...
