As I have stated in prior forms, I am aspiring Imagineer with a computer science degree. I am trying to build my portfolio and was looking for ideas for programs and tools. Any suggestions?

I can do basic web work, but I could get better. I will add that to my list. My job is paying me to learn a little more web work in the spring thankfully.

Check you Inbox here...I think maybe create a blog (tumblr?) and post your ideas (copyrighted of course) and projects. Be diverse and unique so that when people look back on it they see you are diverse. I also recommend getting involved in Urban Planning; Disney is not just about the parks and story but it's also about the urban space. Get involved with your community on projects like that too, maybe push for new technologies in the nearest big city to you.

Also, I suggest maybe using Google SketchUp. I use it in my tech Ed class in school, and it is a really nice program for designing buildings and such.

Re-reading what I wrote, I realize my intention is coming off wrong. What I mean are what type of tools/programs would you like to see as an "Imagineer". For instance I am currently proto-typing a tool that allows uses to create light shows,water showers, even fireworks.
