It's nothing spectacular.......there are some caverns and caves to go through etc... I enjoy going over there around lunch time and sit at Aunt Pollies, have a sandwich , relax and get away from the crowds. Thats one of my favorite things to do so I never miss it. So if your looking for some rlaxation while at the MK head over to TSI.

I hated TSI when I went in June 2001. It was during the Magical Moments parade and it was a 25 min wait just to catch a raft over. The Caves were very hot and the fort was burning. Aunt Polly's was closed and there was not a single CM on the island. The Barrel bridge was closed. After I saw these things I ran to catch the raft because I hated it so much. I wish Disney could give the Island a total Rehab and make it enjoyable again.

our kids always love going to Tom Sawyers Island and we have always found it to be a welcome time out from the hustle and bustle of Magic Kingdom. We always have a good hunt for Indians and stock up on supplies at Aunt Polly's. Go take a hour rest there I'm sure you will find its worth it.:)

Tom Sawyer Island is a nice place to get away, the only problem is getting a raft over, because is almost always packed on those things. When on the island it is a nice walk, especially the bridge to the fort. I never went over there until Dec of 98, it was the only thing I had never done in the Magic Kingdom. It's definately worth the time if you have the time!
