tokyo to okinawa

does anyone have any idea how close okinawa, japan is to tokyo disneyland? the reason i'm asking is that in the future, it may be possible for the boy and i to live in japan (he's a marine, and the planes he navigates are only 5 places in the world, 4 of them being in america, the other in okinawa, japan) for a couple of years. so if okinawa is relatively close to tokyo disneyland, i would consider the move.

i discussed this with the boy, and he was not happy i was basing our future home on whether or not disneyland was close. i wonder if he's caught on yet that all the places i want to move (florida, california, new zealand) have a disney park, with the exception of new zealand (recalls a thread about a disneyland australia.. hmm..). he doesnt think im serious about wanting to work at disneyland. hes sadly mistaken.

The flight between Tokyo and Okinawa is roughly two and a half hours. Once you get to Tokyo Narita airport it will take at least another hour to get to Tokyo Disneyland.

It's close enough for an easy weekend trip but working there is out of the question since you wouldn't make nearly enough to cover your daily airfare.

well, i guess it wouldnt be the end of the world if i could only visit tokyo disneyland, and not work there. if i lived in okinawa i'd probably go to tokyo disneyland more than i ever went to disney world while living here. i just really want to go to tokyo disneyland. disneyland paris doesn't really interest me, but tokyo disneyland does. i guess we'll see how it goes. thanks for replying.
