Tokyo Disney Toy Disguised In Epcot

I bought my two year old a gold nighttime light up spinning toy recently at Epcot and the other night she peeled off the pink princess sticker on it. Underneath it is the exact same sticker but instead of saying Walt Disney World on it, it says "Tokyo Disney." I've spent a lot of money at the parks and thought this was a really strange thing. Anyone ever see a cheap cover up or anything else like this before?

Not completely unheard of. They did the same thing with a whole bunch of vinylmation in one of the early series. Just repainted em with the different paint job. A few people could still see it underneath, but it was very obvious if you popped off the head.

All it takes is someone at the factory mis reading an order, and initially making 5000 for Tokyo instead of 500. Boss says fix it! Workers just run the extra 4500 through the label machine a second time and stick a Disney parks sticker on top and voila! They just filled their US Disney order as well as Tokyo. And unless someone peels it off like you did, no one will know the difference.

Some Tokyo Disney merch has made it over, I know that several vinymation that were exclusive to TDL for a while eventually were brought to the US. I can't see the pavilion selling it though, as that is a run by an external group (Not going to try to spell it now) and not WDW.
