The focus of the park is a large volcanic mountain which is used in advertising here in Japan. Most of the advertising puts the mountain in the middle of icons for each section of the park (a spire from Ariel's land, the Indiana Jones temple, etc.). The only "challenge" to the mountain as icon is the large cruise ship on the left side of the park. But as the ship houses only a restaurant and that area of the park is weak, it is used as a support icon. The mountain still has it.
The logo for the Tokyo Disney Resort is a sillouette of Cindy's Castle against the three circle Mickey icon, with the bottom of Mickey being waves. The Mickey/waves is sometimes used alone to denote Disney Sea.
The park is INCREDIBLE!! It has some totally new rides that will definately be coming to the other parks soon. It still lacks the holy trinity of Tower of Terror/Rockin Roller Coaster/Fantasmic!, but for a completely new park, it is exceptional.
