I guess the ones at WDW are kinda timeless, but they definitely are showing their age. These new interiors are absolutely incredible.

I'm confused. That first and third picture you posted looks like the same Tokyo monorails and their interiors that have existed since 2001, almost 20 years ago. The second photo shows the upholstery has been swapped out to a pink color, apparently to match a current marketing campaign (Duffy related?).

What has changed besides the upholstery color? As an example, here is a photo I took inside a Tokyo monorail on a visit in October, 2017. The Mickey shaped strap hangers were given a Halloween hat overlay for October, because... Tokyo.

That said, the Tokyo Disneyland Monorail is always super impressive. As is everything about Tokyo Disney Resort. It's the opposite of Walt Disney World with its lowered expectations, poor maintenance, dingy surroundings, and slobby Florida Cast Members doing the absolute bare minimum in untucked shirts and greasy hair pulled back into a dirty scrunchy.

The Tokyo monorails were delightfully themed and very enjoyable to ride. And they are a true transportation system to boot, connecting both parks and local hotels.
