Hi all,

Booked my first trip for Japan next year, spending the entire month of May there and I seriously cannot wait.

I will of course be paying a visit to both Disney parks, however there is no data regarding crowds for the time of year I am going. Does anyone have a rough idea when the best time to visit both parks would be?

The dates I'm in Tokyo are as follows:

3rd May - 6th May
19th May - 26th May

Thanks. :)

Tokyo parks crowds are very locals-heavy. Avoid weekends and public holidays, as it's night and day compared to outside these periods

I use these 2 very handy crowd calendars when planning a trip to Tokyo:
http://www15.plala.or.jp/gcap/disney/ (japanese, but you get the idea by just looking at the numbers and colors I guess. very accurate, also includes the public holidays, attractions closure, everything. Google translate is your friend :D )
http://en.disneyreal.asumirai.info/monthly/disneysea-forecast-2019-7.html (in English, kinda accurate, uses historical data. Useful to see how crowds move during the day as they have live-updates)

I also recommend reading TDRExplorer before planning.

Enjoy, TDS is the best park in the world ;)

Definitely avoid during May 3-6. That is Golden Week in Japan and the most crowded period in the entire year.
Let me add Don't Go On weekends especially Monday and Friday in the month of May, because most of the schools in Japan have sports fes on a Saturday and a holiday on all of Mondays in May. to be more specific go on the second week of May where the Golden Week ends and just pick a day from Tuesdays thru Thursdays.
