Today at Disney World

Did some last minute details & made it to WL this morning!Left Miami Lakes at 4am arrived at 8am...bad fog!Parking lot was full(bad sign).Got my room ,went to catch a boat to the MK....3 boats come out of thick fog after waiting 30 min.Boat Capt.tells us fog is too thick,you have to take a bus!Everyone scrambles for the bus.MK is a bit crowdwd....but....not that bad.Bakery was too full,have to get my Cinn.bun later(it's a tradition}!Forget the New Land....too many people.At 11am....you couldn't get on anything without a long line!Back to the Lodge to rest!Lesson learned,
get PKG.EARLY from KK like I always do...just no time this time

We used to live in Ft. Lauderdale and tried the spontaneous over-night trip once and learned our lesson. Unless you're close enough to be able to spend the day without staying the night WDW isn't really the best place for a spontaneous trip. We've moved north since and can easily make day trips now, much better!

In the past few years that I've become more of park fan the biggest thing I've learned is that it's ALWAYS busier than you expect it to be. You really just have to be able to go with the flow or expect the worst every time you go.
