To day I was at the Broken Kingdom

August 19, 2013- Our yearly trip to disney world, and Orlando ISD school year has just started so its a great time to be at disney world. First ride of course space mountain ( we work our way counterclockwise around the park) just as I remembered it was amazing!!!... Then comes tomorrow land's people mover every year we get stuck on this ride, and this year wasn't any different. Back in 2005 we were stuck on the people mover for over an hour until a cast member was able to come get us. Until the peoplemover is renovated I will not be getting on that ride. Another classic the buzz-lightyear spacer ranger ride was great until we got stuck for about 5 minutes

Next to the new fantasyland, under the sea was great until we got stuck twice!!!... It's a new ride yes but it's not too new for them to not have all of the problems worked out. Dumbo was great and the new line setup for kids is great. The teacup ride was fun as always, and really short lines. Its a small world was awesome like every time I've been on it. The haunted mansion, not sure if its part of fantasyland so I will put it in anyway, was the same spooky mansion just like I remember, besides the screaming triplets it was great until we got stuck for 7 minuets!!!....

Frontierland probably one of the best parts of the magic kingdom for older kids, and thrill seekers. No problems here.

Adventureland Swiss tree house one word AMAZING. Then come pirates of the Caribbean to wreak the day, line wasn't too bad, but was HOT. Then comes the breakdown all of the boat started crashing into one another to the point where the ride was closed for the day. The first 3 collisions were pretty hard on my moms joints and she needed a rest after that, so to the hall of presidents we went. Unlike some people in other post I saw no construction walls up on jungle cruise yet.

Spent almost an hour on broken rides. Not very pleased with this trip compared to my previous trips to Disney. Hopefully things get better

I like it when the ride stops sometimes, gives me a chance to look around and maybe notice something that I hadn't noticed before! When we went in April of this year, The Haunted Mansion stopped (I'm assuming to let a guest on) in the stormy hallway with the changing pictures! It gave me a chance to play around with my new camera without the flash, of course! :)

You know every time an omni-mover ride stops it did not breakdown. It has to stop to help certain guests on and off. People in wheel chairs or who have trouble walking can't load and unload on the moving sidewalks so they stop the ride for a minute.

Several people in wheelchairs in front of me got on the ride with no problem. Also every time the rides stopped emergency lighting turn on, and everything stopped.

Not all people in wheelchairs may be as mobile as those in front of you. Emergency lighting comes on for safety reasons.

Interestingly, I find that rides break all the time when I'm on them as well. I have started to notice that this can coincide with me standing up to take a flash picture. Very odd.

So, if I may...

You were "stuck" on attractions a total of 7 times?

And all 7 times, emergency lights came on?

Since so many people will now be getting their only three fastpasses for each park 547 days out they have decided that they only way to keep people out of the queues is to keep them on the rides.

Mandatory stoppage of every ride every fifteen minutes! :)

Correct every signal time, very disappointed. It was our first day on our annual disney trip, and I was not impressed. Still love disney and will always come back for the rest of my life. Don't get me wrong disney will always be my favorite theme park ever, but I was upset with the ride reliability.

I think these rides are just overloaded - even with kids going back to school This place is still a madhouse!! And the Pirates line used to be so much better ... This week It has been hot, crowded, and it was full of line-cutters. While we have been temporarily slowed this week on various rides, it has been nothing compared to what you have experienced thank goodness. Our biggest peeve thus far is the line-cutters. Some of the queue set-ups (like Pirates) make it too easy and a lot of the park guests we have come across seem to take it for granted. Sad. I hate to say it, but I think some of the "magic" may be Rubbing off. Even my kids who are always just so happy to be here, are starting to complain ...
