I guess I should give a bit of history, when I first meet my Girlfriend 4+ years ago the first thing I noticed was the Star Wars Shirt she was wearing. I new immediately that I wanted to get to know here better. Flash forward now, we still love Stars Wars and I am studying A.I. in Grad School at Georgia Tech. So I thought I should combine my 3 loves (the Girl Friend, Star Wars, and computer Science).
My goal:
An responsive R2D2 that is intelligent enough to roam anywhere it likes with in distance of the controller, capable of recognizing gestures and response, along with avoiding objects during movement.
This thread is designed to be progress piece showing off progress in design (which is bound to be slow) along with an place where concepts and ideas can be bounced back and forth.
