Tips for POFQ?

I love building 4. Its next to the food court and closest to the bus stop.

Take the boat to Downtown Disney. It's a pretty ride.
Walk the pathway along the Sassagoola River from French Quarter to Riverside. Better yet, take a carriage ride!
Enjoy an adult beverage at Mardi Grogs (poolside bar). Bartenders are exceptional here!
Try a beignet...you can't eat just one.
The jazz player (forget his name) in the lounge in the evening is fantastic.
Make sure you explore the resort grounds. And if you don't get building 4, don't worry...there isn't a "bad" building in the bunch, the resort is delightfully small.

@Tuvalu Wow, I think you covered just about everything. I would add a quiet morning on a bench by the Sassagoula. Absolutely beautiful. Make sure you do the evening stroll to Riverside. Love that, too. Oh, and don't forget, you can swim in the feature pool at Riverside, as well. Have a great time!

Wow! This was my first post ever and I know now why I went for it! What great advice! Thanks for getting me even more excited about our trip! We decided to make this trip more about relaxation and those tips sound perfect!

This thread made me so happy! My friend and I could not decide which moderate resort to pick and she convinced me this would be best. I wanted Coronado but now I'm glad she won out!

We stayed in building 5, great location. Right across from the pool, close to the river and main building. I would recommend taking an early morning walk along the river, check out the camp fire, walt to riverside and visit their gift shop.. It's a beautiful resort

Well since your only there for 3 days here are my top 3. Take the boat ride to downtown.Check out your neighbour PORS.And last,do not,repeat,do not leave without having the Beignets.

We stayed there a week last June. Look at the schedule, they do a marshmellow roast at certain times and they also play a movie at night in the big field while we were there. Its quiet, usually not a long wait for buses coming out of MK at closing too. When we stayed at Riverside, we would hop the French Quarter bus and take the stroll down the river back. Its a very nice hotel.

Great resort choice.
As others have said you really can't go wrong with building choice at this resort.
It's a quaint resort with tons of charm.
You've already got bunch of great suggestions from the other posters including..
Take a carriage ride
if you're planning on visiting DTD...take the boat...
