Tips for Braves Spring Training

My wife and I are thinking about going to the Atlanta Braves spring training game against the St. Louis Cardinals on March 21st or 22nd at the Wide World of Sports complex. I'm a Cards fan any my wife's a Braves fan so it should be interesting.

Has anyone attended one of these games? How are the crowds? How early should one get there before a 1:30pm game.

Also we're probably staying at Pop Century, All Star Sports, or Caribbean Beach Club depending on AP discounts tomorrow morning. What's the best way to get there from a Park or a Resort? Does Disney Transporation service the games or should we just drive our own car?

Any info would be helpful! Thanks in advance

I attended a Cards/Braves game in 2001. It was a pretty good crowd that day. McGuire was still around at that time and was the big draw.

Going by other days when a lesser team (Montreal, Florida, etc.) with no real huge star, it wasn't that crowded, at least parking wise.

If you are into autographs or pictures, get there earlier. I'm not sure what time turnstiles open. You might be able to spend most of the morning there at the complex if wanted.

The only way to get to the complex by Disney transportation, is to take a bus to the studios first. The studios are the only place where you can get a bus to the WWoS complex. So if you have a car, it might just be easier to use it.
