Not sure if this will help anyone else, but I almost missed out on my discount. I was reserving a room and buying tickets over the phone. Though I said I'm a "Florida resident" and gave the phone rep a Florida address, he still rang up the total full price. I had to ask him to break out the price for each ticket and the cabin separately, and only then did I discover that he didn't give me the discount.
He finally said "oh, we will only give the discount when you say I want the Florida resident price, we can't give you that price if you only say 'I'm a Florida resident' or from your address." I thought that was rather petty, but now I know.
