Hello WDWMagic friends!
Well, I've officially been back from WDW for a week now. I even ate the last of my rice krispie treat today, so I guess it is time to start my trip report!
btw: our travel dates were June 8-15
If you missed my pre-trip report you can find it here for a basic run down of everyone going and our ADR plans: http://forums.wdwmagic.com/threads/tink-meets-the-mouse-a-pretrip-report.863927/#post-5532350
First for a few general observations:
1. Goodness it was hot. Wow! But we survived!
2. I think that the next time I travel in a busy season I will NOT park hop until the last few days. FPs were going so quickly for things like Soarin', Test Track, TSMM (no surprise there). Several times we didn't get a FP for somethign because it would have been too close to the time we would need to be park hopping.
3. When traveling with a big group it is so nice to have dinner together each evening. I think it really alleviated the pressure some groups feel to stay together for every minute of the day. Knowing that we would be dining together and probably hanging out after dinner made it easier to split up during the day.
4. I'm not sure where I read the tip about changing kids into PJs while still in the parks, but it made things so easy for us. No traumatic changing of clothes and changing diaper after she had fallen asleep on the way back to the room. Just pick her up and place her in the pack 'n' play. Easy peasy
Alright, now on to the detailed daily reports. I will put in some pics, but we don't have our photopass cd yet so I will have to add those later.
