What takes faster when the park opens? Ferry or Monorail?

Also, does the monorail or ferry start when the park opens?

If you are a bear, you should just run. Bears can run very fast. Of course, you would scare everyone off the monorail anyway. LoL. The Monorail is always faster for me. I always take the resort monorail if there is a line. It is much faster than taking the boat.

Monorails usually start up around 7:30 or 8:00 am

They start before because they get people in to the gates when the park opens.

The Monorails start early on Sundays for Church sessions held in the morning at the Poly. But the monorails try to keep a normal daily schedule, so they open at 7:30 am every morning. Also, the monorails close 2 hrs later than a park closes on the monorail loop (MK or Epcot) ie: if the MK closes at 8, and Epcot closes at 9, the Monorail runs till 11. If there is a special event on at the parks (ie E-Ride Nights or Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party) the monorails close 1 hr later than the end of the event. ie: MK closes at 9, Epcot Closes at 9, but MK has a 3 hour E-ride night that night, so the monorail operates until 1am. The MK Express monorail has lighter hours, but you can always take the resort monorail to the TTC or MK, but don't tell anybody!!!!! The Epcot Loop closes 2 hrs later than Epcot closes. The monrails might even be operating at 7 am. Sometimes they were doing early laps to warm up the cars last year.

Yea, but I would be going from the transportation center to MK...

What does everyone prefer to take, the boat or the monorail? I always take the ferry on the first day i reach WDW and then i use either one.

Yea, you can still take the Resort Monorail to the MK, even from the TTC. You stop at the Poly and the Flordian first, but the third stop is the MK.

I like taking whatever will be quicker. But If i take the monorail my first day at the MK, then I take the ferry the next day I go to the MK.
