Timeline photo. Start a tradition...

My parents took my sister and I to Disney back in like '74. We have a great picture of the two of us on the stairs of the Emporium at the Magic Kingdom. Shocked that my mother dressed me like that back in the day. A couple of years ago, my wife and I went down with my sister and her husband. We took a picture of the two of us in the exact same spot. Took both pictures, enlarged them and framed them together. Gave it to my parents for Christmas. It was soooooo cool not only seeing how we've changed in the past 25 years but also how the location changed. I'm sure many have done this themselves but if you have young ones, pick a spot and start a tradition. 25 years from now, your one time little ones will really appreciate it...

I guess that means I will have to start the tradition this coming summer since i pretty much missed out on that the last 10 times I have been. Good idea though!!!

Have this at more than one locations, take pictures everytime we go, for a yearly update, cool to see how you grow with the landscape, We have one in front of mickeys house and horizons...used the construction wall for M:S and the final result as well.

We have been doing this at a park near us (Bear Mtn State Park) with the kids for 15 years. Both my DH and I have pics of ourselves in the same spot from when we were kids. I try to take pics of the kids in the same spot everytime we go to WDW. :sohappy:

Every time we go to WDW as a family we always take a picture on the wall in front of the trainstation at MK and we used to take a picture in the color light tunnel in Imageworks(the part after Journey into the Imagination: Original, I really miss this ride )

We do this in Norway at EPCOT Center.

I have had a picture taken with the giant Troll in Norways gift shop on every trip.

The Troll always looks the same...but unfortunately I don't. <sigh

We have something like that. There's a golf course off property and when I was 5 I'm holding my club ontop of my head like the champion now I always get pics there! I'm still ontop of the world!

I decided to start that this year with my kids since it will be their first time. I'm just trying to think of a good location!
